Yes, 1 week tuition. When you give 2 weeks notice, we apply to the last week of care. If you do not give 2 weeks notice, then the deposit will be retained per our contract and parent handbook.
We are inspected by a Fire Marshall yearly and also inspected by the FSSA. Our electrical outlets are self closing and the infant/toddler room outlets are 3 feet off the ground. There are 4 exits out of our building and each have panic hardware. Three of the four doors are locked at all times and we have a gated drop off area to ensure maximum safety as parents leave the building. We use a daily communication app that parents are able to check throughout the day to see what their child is doing. Children are checked in and out on this app as well and it alerts parents.
Because infants and toddlers have such specific needs based on allergies and preferences, parents supply diapers, pull ups, wipes, formula/breast milk. The center supplies baby food. Hot lunches, breakfast and two snacks are supplied for toddlers up.
Yes, when space is available. A deposit is not required for drop in care. However, all necessary medical and emergency forms must be filled out prior to the drop off.
6 weeks through 6 years old.
Yes! Our goal is to help prepare your children for kindergarten, with the convenience of all day childcare built in. We operate within a mixed age group of 3-6 years old. Our Montessori inspired classrooms follow a curriculum designed to keep children engaged in learning and a weekly thematic approach to teaching children keeps it fun. We believe in child led learning at Max's Playhouse. We are Level 3 on Paths To Quality, a voluntary rating system used to rate educational quality in childcare and preschools. The state of Indiana recognizes Level 3 & 4 as high quality education!
Unfortunately, we are not able to transport to other programs at this time. However, we do allow Culver Schools and the Saint Michael's school bus to pick up and drop off at our center for before and after school care.
Yes. Breakfast, lunch, AM & PM snack are included. Lunch is vended from the Culver Academies.
All teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. In addition, a family doctor has signed off on our health & safety program and serves as our consultant on medical issues.
